  Positive: The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice towels too. Negative: Coffee machine wasn¿t working and no fresh fruit at breakfast. Other reviews mentioned the wrinkled carpeting¿that¿s definitely an aesthetic issue, but the fact that the carpet in our room felt damp under our feet was a bigger issue.

  I spent one night at the Sleep Inn & Suites in Bismarck, North Dakota. I made my reservations online using the Choice Hotels Website. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and recognized as a Choice Privileges Member. Check-In was quick and in no time, I was in my room. The King Room was large, clean and well attended. The bed was well made and very comfortable. I enjoyed a quiet stay with no road or outside noise. The Wi-Fi was strong, quick and worked well during my stay. This hotel features a large, well lit parking lot that can accommodate a large number of hotel guests. While this hotel was clean, and very comfortable, the employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure that you have a wonderful and enjoy stay. This Sleep Inn is an excellent hotel, and I would not hesitate staying here again.

  Positive: Staff at the front desk was so polite and kind. The room was perfect. Perfectly clean, quiet, comfortable and at a very reasonable price. Negative: Like all other hotels the breakfast service generates too much waste. Styrofoam plates, single use containers - we need to move beyond this quickly. This was also true in the room. Small single use containers in the bathroom and coffee service.

  Positive: This little, quaint hotel looks like it'll be nothing special as you pull up but it's hands down the best hotel in Bismarck/Mandan. The staff truly enjoy their jobs and strive to make your stay a good one. I've stayed here a number of times and recommend!

  overall the stay was fine for the amount of time we spent at hotel. with the ability to have pets I think the pet area outside needs more attention - especially since the owners aren't particularly taking care. Pets inside seemed to be under control and not very noisy room we had did have something on the wall above the mirror that looked like a glossy dried substance. May have been some form of hair care product that is hard to see and clean

Our fridge did start making a really high pitched sound in the middle of the night. I thought it was coming out of the walls. It started to give us quite a headache. I got up to call the front desk when I realized what was causing it. We unplugged the fridge and that stopped the sound. I don't expect this is common. Everything else on our room seemed to be in great repair. I'd stay here again.

  It was a great experience. We spend two months every summer driving across the US and Canada, stopping in both small towns and large cities. This hotel was a lovely experience. We will certainly look for other Sleep Inns when we are on the road.

The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, amble bright lighting, big bathrooms with toilet roll holder low to the floor. The bathroom amenities that you get are Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, Q-tips, bar soap and makeup remover wipe. The swimming pool is a cool 84 degrees with the hot tub being a cool 104 degrees!!! Both were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was handed to me but I was able to tell the front desk agent want I would like out of the choices given to me! Breakfast sandwich, yogurt, granola bar, juice/milk, cereal/oatmeal and a pastry! The only downside was lack of USB charging ports in the room. There is one on the table lamp but it didn’t work for my IPhone 11 so we went to the store and bought two wall chargers for both of our phones. (Don’t forget wall chargers at home) Sleep Inn- Bismarck, ND will be our go to hotel when we come back to visit.

  The personal attention to our stay was remarkable. We were greeted with a morning text message welcoming us to our upcoming stay, with a request to contact the hotel if their were to be any questions or needs for our stay. A dial zero on a phone on the front desk got us immediate attention at the front desk. The room was basic, but clean and kept up. I would have liked the bed a little firmer, but that said they were better than your average hotel beds. The breakfast room was large enough to serve everyone while still remaining intimate. There was a breakfast attendant present who really gave eye to detail such as rotating the products, keeping them stocked and remaining cleanliness to the area. We were greeted and made feel welcome during our entire stay. The only request for immediate change is the coffee served. To us coffee is one of the last things you remember/have at the hotel and to us might be one to reconsider before staying again. Overall a very nice and personalized affordable hotel, but with a need for immediate coffee quality improvement.

  This was our first time staying at this hotel. We very much liked our experience and returned to stay a second night. It’s a moderately priced hotel with very clean rooms that do not smell antiseptic. The beds and pillows are very, very comfortable. My husband liked working out in the exercise room, and there was a large food spread with many choices at the morning buffet. The front desk staff and other employees were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay in this same brand hotel again when traveling to various places.

  Positive: Front desk help was very helpful. He helped us get our room changed from a King to a double Queen as we ended up having 2 grandkids travel with us. Negative: The hallway carpets were badly wrinkled and stained. Pushing the luggage cart down the hallway was tough. Also there was food under the chair and my wife¿s service dog found it right away!!

  I do a lot of long distance road trips and, as my dog is getting older, I am needing to stop more to let him rest. I started going to the Sleep Inn in Idaho Falls on my way to northern Montana and fell in love with the chain. It was always super clean and the staff was really good with understanding that I need to stay in a specific room. When I started my drive from Colorado to Connecticut, I knew I needed to stay at Sleep Inn. I was able to request a room next to the side door and not only did they reserve it for me, when i checked out they made sure to check in with me about how the room placement was. It was absolutely perfect. My dog has a hard time walking up and down stairs and hallways, so having the staff go above and beyond to make sure my room work for him made my stay even better than I knew it was going to be. I will always book my road trip rooms at Sleep Inn. It’s my absolute FAVORITE!!

  Positive: Pool and gym open late. No fees or deposits at check-in. Negative: Staff at check-in was not very accommodating. Walls were paper thin¿very noisy stay. Only one elevator and hotel was packed, we had to take the stairs at the end of the hallway a lot. Carpet in room was filthy; lots of pet (dog) hair.

  I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times whether it’s because I’m in Bismarck for leisure, business or, like our latest trip to Bismarck, a medical procedure. The Sleep Inn is simply the best hotel deal in town, especially when you considered that it checks off the top two boxes every single time: it’s clean and it’s quiet — especially compared to so many other hotels in the area. The staff is always very attentive and accommodating, the breakfast is good, and the pool area is clean. My baby had a small surgical procedure being done in the morning so they allowed for us to have a late checkout as we dealt with this. That was incredibly appreciated. I’ve never paid an unreasonable price at this hotel, even during tournament or event season, and I always get the same great service.

  If anybody from Choice Hotels corporate is reading this, you should really make all your franchisees and managers come stay at this hotel for a few days, so they can see how it's done! I've stayed in quite a few Sleep Inns, and this one sets the standard. Just exceptional. The common areas and grounds were extra clean, as was the room. Service was exemplary - very friendly and accommodating, and the manager / front desk staff did a great job of making us feel right at home. The breakfast was really impressive too, with an automatic pancake maker - don't think I've ever seen one of those before! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

  I have stayed at this hotel many times. It always appears to be new. It is clean and comfortable and they have a great breakfast. Many times the front desk is staffed lightly so that you have to wait for somebody to show up when you check in. Rooms are not large but the bed is comfortable. Temperature easy to adjust and everything is in new condition. There are always plenty of towels. The place is quit even when booked. Access to the hotel is reasonably easy and there are plenty of places to eat or drink near the hotel.0

  My first impression was the cleanliness followed by the impressive breakfast bar. I loved the bathroom although I didn't order it, the walk in shower was the best. The new scents of the bathroom amenities were very agreeable to my whole family and we appreciated the staff accommodating us with an item not normally shared with guests. I would have to say I really enjoyed my stay and can truely compare it with another high end hotel I stayed in over July 4th. Thank you.

  The entire staff at the hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the moment you arrive to when you leave, it is a good experience. The kitchen staff were excellent as well as they were quick to clean off the tables and refill the fruit and other food items that started to go low. It was a busy weekend at this hotel and they did a nice job of keeping up. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean and our family of 4 had a really nice overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel!

  Clean modern and well taken care of facilities. Pretty much everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast bar by far had the most options I have seen in a long time. As a frequent traveler it was great to have more variety vs the normal powered eggs, paper thin bacon and dry potatoes. Tons of juices, breads, fruits, teas, coffees, biscuits and gravy, ham, etc. The staff was also nice and attentive to my needs. Modern workout area, modern rooms with updated décor and furniture.

  We had such a great stay at Sleep Inn & Suites. The staff at the front desk and breakfast area were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay nice. The hot cocoa available when we arrived was a hit with our kids. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was well kept. The breakfast area was clean, the food was good, and there was a nice selection. We highly recommend Sleep Inn & Suites.

  Breakfast was well done. The breakfast attendant was efficient, helpful and friendly. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to check in as no one was at the front desk. I did call as advised on a sign, but the employee manning the front desk was otherwise occupied. I did not request, but was assigned a handicap accessible room which was run down and in need of repair. It was located directly behind the hotel's sign. I stayed at this location before a few years ago and it was in better condition. An average hotel experience. Not especially bad or good.

  This hotel was modern and clean, the rooms were well appointed and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection which as a person on a diet I truly appreciated that it was not just sweet rolls or muffins and doughnuts. The hotel was busy but it was quiet which truly made for a good night sleep.

  Supposed to be a new efficient heating system, but the heater runs all night. And blows cold air, out of part of the system.. That can't be saving electricity. We had a bad bed. They said they would get rid of it. But the rest of the hotel seemed very clean. And terrific breakfast. Nice pool area. With fresh towels.

  We were super surprised at how clean and well maintained this Sleep in was. We have stay at a few other Sleep Inns that were dumps. Not this one. Staff was very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and up to date and had a microwave and fridge. The beds were comfy and warm. Breakfast was perhaps the best we've experienced at a hotel. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

  Great stay. Hotel texts before you arrive to make sure they know when to have your room ready. Cookies at check in a nice touch. Room clean, large, and comfortable. Modern decor, comfy bed, and nice pool area with big fluffy towels. Just off main drag and close to lots of restaurants. Quiet area. Would definitely stay here again. Great hotel and great value!

  We have stayed at your facility 3 times and each time the stay has been very nice. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are always clean. Everything is maintained very well. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They pay attention to details and try to make your stay a positive experience. The breakfast was wonderful. We stayed at 2 other hotels during our recent trip and your facility far and away surpassed them. In the future we will plan to book with ChoiceHotels at all our destinations. We were impressed.

  Service was great. Bed and bedding was great. Room was not very clean. Chair was black with dirt around the edges. I found popcorn in the chair. I found cookies under the air conditioner. Overall feel aside from above mentions was that this hotel was showing its age and feeling tired and dirty. I have stayed in other Sleep Inns that were clean and fresh, and that is what made me stay at this one. I may have second thoughts in the future.

  This is a newer Sleep Inn and is in good shape. The hotel was cleaner than most I've stayed in lately. Everything was very adequate. The pillows were good, the bed comfortable enough. The room was a little smallish, but perfectly fine. It was very quiet. The breakfast was above average in both selection and quality. Most staff were efficient and friendly; especially the breakfast concierge and the housekeeping staff.

  We liked the hotel and location. The breakfast was good, lots of options and always hot. They had fresh cookies & hot cider or choc. in the evenings. The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable, we had a king. I have to say the ladies of the kitchen did a great job and fun to talk to. The staff at the desk helped us with directions and very friendly.   We arrived late and the door was locked, but the receptionist was at the desk and we didn't have to wait to get in. She greeted us with a warm cookie and got us registered efficiently. The room was spacious & clean. Appreciated the Caribou coffee pods for the Keurig & the Gardetto snacks. Breakfast was good & even though we were the last ones there, the attendant make sure we had everything we wanted before she started closing it down.

  This hotel is very nice, we were staying over a weekend for a hockey tournament. The hotel allowed us a slightly earlier check in. The group rate they offered us was the best we have had all year.   Very nice, new hotel in general. It was difficult to find the entrance in the dark. The cookies presented on arrival were wonderful. Room was adequate in size but not generous. The heating/cooling system was difficult to regulate. Otherwise, very nice, basic hotel. Good value for the money. Could NOT get the wi-fi to work. I gave up and just used my phone (did NOT check with front desk)

  We have stayed at this hotel twice now. Our main reason is it is pet friendly. However we have enjoyed our stay both times so we will stay here anytime we are in the Bismarck area. Staff has always been very accommodating for us. Rooms are nice and clean.

  We were very pleased with the staff from the beginning of our booking to the check out. They did what they could to accommodate our large family into two rooms. We would have liked adjoining rooms but given the circumstances they were not able- but did what they could to try. The breakfast staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and treat us like we were eating at their home. It was great! The rooms were big and very clean and everything in the hotel was clean and looked nice.
