I think they need to put tile or something else on the walls. Our bathroom was clean but the drain in the shower is missing its cover and should be replaced. Also I have to say we thought the bed was very comfy! Overall we enjoyed it and had a great experience.

The hotel seems new, clean, and well kept, staff is good. The pool and hot tub on their own are fine. But they both seem to have too much chlorine, and the hot tub is a bit too hot. That combined with improper ventilation, makes it like a sauna in there. The high chlorine left out eyes burning a bit. These conditions are also leading to very accelerated wear to the walls, and anything metal getting rusty. Updated this to 5 star after we had the breakfast(food was fresh, and had a large variety), and comparing it to other hotels, I think this is a good value

  They are so accommodating. Mackenzie went above and beyond to make our group feel so welcome. We were there for a family reunion amazing and unforgettable. Love the hotel, and all the employees there were amazing. Highly recommend and will stay there again when we get back to ND. That you everyone

  Had a good experience at this hotel. Drove 4 hours to go to a wedding. Got ther a little early so decided to see if we could check in and go change into good clothes for the wedding. The front desk person was absolutely awesome. She was fantastic with her personality and banter. We were at hotel on June 12 at 1:30 pm do not know her name but what a fantastic employee. Best experience at front desk we and our friends have ever had.

The staff went out of their way to make sure I had a full Thanksgiving dinner with the goodies when I checked in. Service like this does not go unrecognized and I will be back any chance I get.   Positive: We found the hotel to be very clean and modern, and the staff was very friendly. Restaurants and an excellent coffee shop are close by. The hotel was also very quiet, even though it was fully booked. Negative: There was an overwhelming chlorine smell from the pool that hit us immediately when we walked in the door to the lobby. For someone with sensitivity to such odors, that is a big problem.

  We reserved our room at approximately $80/night. When we arrived we were charged $190/night. No negotiation. It is what it is. They said they tried to call us. When we looked back on our phone, they tried to call us when we were an hour away from the hotel and did not leave us a message. Horrible customer service. Sucky way to treat a customer. If there was a mistake at their end they should have owned it and made it right. Later we did get a $30 credit. Still double what we were expecting. Will not be back to this location again.

(Original) The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me and my disabled husband. We needed a handicapped-accessible room, and the front desk person offered to show us several rooms so we could see the differences in tubs and walk-in showers. We ended up with a really nice room on the second floor with a walk-in shower, and the front desk person got us a shower chair from an unrented room to further help us. The next day, it was pouring rain, and we had no umbrella. Not just one, but two, staff members offered to loan us their own umbrellas for the day. I may be slightly biased :-) but I don't think this sort of personal loan happens everywhere in the country. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculately clean. The hotel seemed to have been built within the last ten to fifteen years, and had more outlets for all the things we needed to plug in. I highly recommend this hotel!

  Wonderful property. I enjoyed the stay. I have no complaints about any of the services received during my stay. I was very impressed by the spaciousness and the decor of the lobby. Also, the rooms were very well done with a gorgeous barn door show enclosures.

  Positive: Did not like. I called to make sure there was big truck parking(Semi). I was told there were 3 spots. I checked with the front desk at check in and was told, yes there is big truck parking. Well there is not big truck parking. We had a Cattle Pot. Negative: Had there been any cars in the parking lot it would have been impossible to get the truck and trailer out without hitting cars, trees, curbs etc. Large trucks without trailers are okay. Other than the parking issue, the hotel was nice.

  Excellent stay. Great facility - modern and clean. Amazing breakfast - great service, variety for selection, and friendly serving staff. Hotel staff also very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed the inviitng soup served when we arrived. Extensive gym with multiple cardio machines, weight machines, and variety of dumbbell weights, not to mention therapy balls/mats/kettlebells. Will stay here again during our next stay. And all for such a reasonable price!

  King suite!! Excellent check in process hotel and online. Great customer service throughout my whole stay. Updated and very clean rooms. Pool and hot tub was relaxing. Soup social was a pleasant surprise Friday evening. Conveniently located by Walmart but no need when the hotel offers you everything you may have left at home or just need a snack! We will return

  This was our first time at this hotel. We travel a lot for work and stay in hotels weekly. This was the nicest stay we've had in a long time!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We received an upgrade without even requesting it. The room was clean and very nice. We were there on a Wednesday night so were treated to the complimentary happy hour. After a long day of traveling, that was a nice surprise! We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, both were maintained well. The breakfast area was clean and better organized that most. The food items were hot and decent. All in all, this was a great find and we look forward to staying there again when we are back in the area. Keep up the good work!

  This is a nice facility in Mandan, ND. Our go to overnight location when traveling across ND. Unfortunately, due to poor staffing the customer service at this facility has declined. I'm thinking that their employees need to feel more valued for their labors, which will be returned in kind to your clientel.

  This hotel is a newly-built hotel and is in a very nice area that is still being built up. The rooms are super clean and nice, but the king suite was absolutely awesome. It's beyond spacious and comes with a stand-in shower instead of a shower/tub combination. The food they offer changes up and one morning they had country-fried steak, biscuits, and gravy. That was great! The hotel staff are really nice and helpful and one of the ladies even went to her car to retrieve a snowbrush so we could clean our car off. A great stay and one we would certainly make again!

  Hotel was nice! Very new and looked nice. Everything was in working order. Bed was huge and very comfortable. A bus load of people came in the middle of the night and I’m pretty sure I could hear every door in the hotel slamming. Bathroom shower floor had someone else’s hair in it and the coffee bar had garbage left over from previous guests.

  The hotel was clean. Very clean. I am big on that aspect and was impressed. The staff, was great. I would reccomend that although the breakfast buffet is all microwaved prep foods. Please advise your client services to not mention that to the clients. We loved our stay over all. Will stay again.

  I wish I could say I had a great time but I didn’t. My room was not clean. I asked for a room with extra pillows and I never got that. I asked for a room with a big tv but I got a room with a small tv. I couldn’t set the temp lower than 67. The room next to me was snoring so loud I could hear them. Kids were running up and down the halls. The bed was extremely hard

  Very nice hotel. Staff was very nice and tried to help anyway they could. I think a couple of them were fairly new as they seemed to be a little lost at times. Nightly reception was great with a meal and beer or wine. That was really appreciated. Rooms were very clean and had everything I needed. Shower head was higher than most hotels I frequent which was a big deal for me as I don't like bending over to wash my hair. Would definitely stay again.

  The hotel is located on a hillside overlooking Mandan with sweeping fields of green and gold hills as the backdrop. The commons areas had a majestic airy feel and the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The convenience shop had the best selection of groceries and general goods of any hotel we've stayed at. The outdoor sitting areas were well manicured with tasteful landscaping, flowers and greenery. The rooms were very clean and modern. The sliding glass door in the shower was such a refreshing change compared to questionably clean curtains of other hotels. The rooms were quiet and the bed was very comfortable. There was a nice variety for continental breakfast. The conference room had good lighting and great ventilation. Overall the stay was lovely and we will definitely consider staying here again!

  Overall a truly superior hotel. Well built and quiet. Large room is especially appreciated. Room includes "separate" lounge area with couch and table. Very clean. Bed is VERY comfortable. Bathroom included large counter, elegant shower, hot water, good pressure. Towels especially fluffy. Breakfast was above average. Front desk staff was very cordial Hotel is a bit isolated from a range of restaurants but this will change as area develops.

  Wonderful hotel. Loved the evening reception and continental breakfast. This saved us a bunch of money. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. This is an excellent hotel.

  This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Everything is great. What's even better than great is the staff. They're all friendly, welcoming, personable and they really make you feel valued. Renee and Tammy do a great job handling breakfast, Gina, at the front desk was more than helpful with every aspect of our stay. There were closer hotels to our job site, but we're happy to make the drive to stay here. I stay in hotels over 300 nights a year and this hotel is very high on my list. The staff is #1, the best I can ever remember.

  I was a little surprised how nice the hotel was. I travel a fair amount but have never stayed at Comfort Inn. Stayed in a suite with my family. Very nice, roomy, comfortable. Large shower. Breakfast was better than similar hotel offerings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Seemed to care that we enjoyed our stay. Had a lot of outdoor seating on 2 separate patios. Would definitely stay here again!

Our team made it to the championship, so we didn't play until 3:15 Sunday and they allowed us to kill time in a conference room. It's a newer hotel, nice decor, great breakfast and evening guest reception- with wine & beer & food, a nice choice of coffee and teas, great & friendly staff, the place is always peaceful, conveniently located in a good neighborhood not too far from the hwy and the rates are so reasonable.   The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, they go out of their way to make your stay a good one. I love a clean bathroom and this one is really nice and clean. I love that on the outside of the hotel they have a patios for smokers and non smokers, very nice view. The only con was I stayed for a total of 3 days and i'm not sure the housekeepers even went into my room to clean. I made my own bed and had to ask for more clean towels.

  The hotel was conveniently located near the Graduation and family I was visiting. The room was clean and services were good. The morning breakfast was good and well attended. There was one older lady working at the breakfast who was very helpful, courteous and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there.

  My sister lives not too far from this motel and often we stay here so our kids can enjoy swimming together. Have always been more than pleased with my experience here. Staff is super friendly - place is clean - and breakfast is good. Will definitely be back to stay again! The pool area is small and nothing too fancy - but perfect for our kids - only thing to mention would be there isn't a kiddy pool - but my kids are older than that so doesn't affect me - but just want to mention for those looking for a place to stay with very small children - unless you are getting in with them there isn't a super shallow end.

  If you are looking for a clean , affordable and comfortable place to stay this is it. The staff are more than gracious and attend to what ever needs may arise. The breakfast is a good way to get your day started and the happy hour in the evening is definitely an added bonus. The hotel is located in a quiet area, so you escape the typical urban noises that you get at most places. You are treated as a guest here not just a room filler.

  We loved this new hotel. Our room was quiet and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom too exceeded our expectations, especially the shower. Free breakfast was certainly fine too and competitive with other chains. Good value for the price we paid. Close to the Interstate ( but not too close!) great location for visiting the Abraham Lincoln State Park, and downtown Bismarck is a short ride away too.

  This hotel is great! It is only about a year old so everything is new. We stay at Choice Hotels at least 20 days a year and this is by far the best one yet. The rooms are great and the Managers Reception was a welcome surprise after a long drive. The hotel offered a pasta dish with salad, bread, and pasta salad the first time we stayed and meatballs and lil smokies the second time. The beer and wine was also a great amenity. We will definitely be staying there again!! In case you are wondering, the guests were mostly families, not oil workers.

  The hotel was pretty clean. The tissue in the box in the bathroom was completely damp and was unusable. The bath had mold or dirt in the grout. The blackout curtains were broken on one side and let light in. The lady who helped serve breakfast was very nice.

  We had a VERY LARGE group of families staying together this past weekend at this hotel as we attended and watched our team win State B Boys Basketball. The hotel was perfect for what we needed and the staff was unbelievably helpful and accommodating!! The rooms were very clean and perfect for what we needed. The King Suites are HUGE and reasonably priced!! The pool area was adequate for the kids to enjoy and the breakfast was great. I can't thank your staff enough for putting up with our group all weekend and always with a smile. Even at 4 am as we continued celebrating our victories in the front seating area. All staff went above and beyond to help us. Even giving us a separate meeting room to plug in our crock pots and feed our crew of 50+. THANK YOU!! You can bet we will stay again the next time we are in the Bismarck/Mandan area. Well worth the few extra miles of driving into Bismarck!!

  We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. I shopped around Mandan and this had a good rate so we thought it's was just an OK Hotel. We arrived and the place was immaculate, shiny new, the staff were very friendly and helpful with giving us directions and suggesting places to eat. We were allowed to check in early. My 88 year old mother was traveling with us and she enjoyed the Chocolate waffles for breakfast. The entire experience at the hotel was terrific! The location was good for us, Near the expressway with easy on and off access (but not too close), Walmart close by for the things we forgot, close to the nursing home we were visiting.

  The overall quality of the hotel and the amenities are pretty great. But, be mindful this is a family hotel so you will have loud children around potentially. Not all kids are loud and misbehave though. Don’t let that steer you away from this hotel. It’s comfortable and welcoming and worth a stay.

  I've stayed here a couple times now when traveling for work. this hotel is now my go to place to stay if I do overnight in the Mandan Bismarck area.
