  Our room was quite clean, comfortable, hotel just feels nicer than most of the ones in Bismarck too. Don’t see dirt in the corners of the lobby or anything like that. Front staff was happy and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again but I often have my pupper, and they do not accept pets. Witch probably contributes to the cleanliness and the desire to keep it that way. Side note, I love when hotels accept pets but they always seem to start caring less and less, as time goes, about keeping things clean.

  I was pleased with the continental breakfast. I absolutely love the pancake machine. The indoor pool and spa are a plus. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect. It was a pleasure to stay there and will do so again if I am in the area.

  As always, I am treated like family at this hotel. Staff are genuine and friendly and make us feel welcome. Our rooms were clean and had everything we required. My favorite place to stay and bring groups of students when we come for conferences.

  The room was very clean and comfortable (we had a king suite). The bed was very comfortable but the pillows went a little flat after a few minutes use. The bathroom was very clean but the shower floor was a little rounded so it made me feel like I was going to slip at any minute. Breakfast is closed at 9:30am, I thought that was a little early. 10am would be better.

  The Bismarck Holiday Inn Express team is very polite and friendly. The room and bathroom is very spacious and inviting. The fitness center also is roomy with padded flooring and a wall of full length mirrors. The pool area is clean as is the breakfast/dining area. So many options for breakfast - LOVE it!

  The cleanliness of this hotel was exceptional. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. I chose this hotel based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed. The price was higher than I usually pay for business travel, but there was a large conference at the same time and all of the better rated hotels had similar pricing. I recommend this hotel for all who are traveling.

  Overall Rooms were ok. I wish they had joining rooms for my stay but the staff put us as close together as they could. The staff was excellent and did their best to check on us and make sure we were ok and satisfied. I get why the Breakfast is limited due to COVID-19.   My recent stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas, along with the room itself were extremely clean and modern. I really appreciated the large freezer area on the refrigerator. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout. Even with the limits on the breakfast options right now, it was great. We will definitely stay here again.

  The Hotel Manager Cindy and the Front Desk personnel Payton and Brenda all have excellent customer service skills. All are very personable and go out of their way to ensure that everything "is good to go" each time I stay at this location. Best way to describe my experience each time I stay at this Holiday Inn Express is that it "has a family atmosphere". I am a Sales Account Consultant and travel a great deal - I spend a great deal of time in hotels and this hotel location is the best I've experienced. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in the Bismarck, ND area!

  This was intended to be an easy, relaxing one night stay on our way to Theodore Roosevelt National Park from the Twin Cities area. It did not start off very relaxing. 2 hour delay getting out of the Cities on I-94 in the NW corner ...at 3:00pm on a Wednesday! Construction of course. We pulled into Bismarck around 11:30pm, dead tired and ready to drop. We had called ahead and spoke with the night manager that we would be checking in late. "No problem...we will be waiting for you!". When we finally arrived, the night manager made the checking-in process so easy, friendly, and made us feel like we belonged there! The suite was perfect and just what we needed...room to just drop. Comfortable, looked great, and clean. Well appointed, too. Convenient large bath, mattress

  I liked stay at the Holiday Inn Express because it is consistantly clean, new, modern and friendly staff. I especially like the breakfast and the micro wave and fridge in the room, I also like the variety of television programs available in the room. The air conditioning is always ice cold in the summer and the heat always works well in the coldest winter days.

  I found this hotel to feel remarkably luxurious and modern. The beds and linens were very nice. There were many different options for level of light in the room. The bathroom in the room matched wonderfully in style. There were full size toiletries in the shower (something I really appreciate as I have long hair and the tiny bottles just don't cut it), and the shower head was nice with different options for water pressure. The entire place was spotless as well. I seriously recommend it and hope to stay there again!

  This was the cleanest and most well organized Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in all year. There was hand sanitizer at the check-in counter and at all the elevator entrances. The room and bathroom were spotless. Not a stray hair on the floor or in the tub and the shower head was even immaculate. I even noticed the little details like the shower curtain rod was tight and installed correctly, the curtain was correctly hung on the rod, and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were filled and installed in the correct order. (this matters more than one would think for people who wear glasses but don't wear them in the shower and can't read labels without them) The management, maintenance and housekeeping deserve a pat on the back as this was a very well-run hotel.

  This is my favorite place to stay in Bismarck! Extremely comfortable beds, solid fitness room, and clean pools. I have stayed here for work and personal, and have felt safe and comfortable alone and with my family. Normally a top notch breakfast - nothing they can do about COVID restrictions right now, but the fact that there is anything is notable. I appreciated the notable efforts staff was making in COVID related safety. Each staff member I encountered was very friendly. They had no problems accommodating my late check out, which made my work situation easier. I'll absolutely be back!

  Hotel was great but the best part of my stay was the help at the front desk. I came in at 11pm and hot tub was closed. I explained that my back was killing me and she asked if I needed an extra half hour to use it. It made me feel so much better!

  The staff was professional, welcoming and helpful. The hotel had been remodeled and the rooms were a fine example. Generous amounts of towels and toiletries were provided. Water had been spilled on the bathroom floor and the tissue used to wipe the water from floor showed no signs of dirt also shower curtains were being taken down and replaced with freshly laundered curtains.

  The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was very nice. I just do not feel it was worth the rate I was charged. The room was about $50 more than what I would have paid at any other hotel for the same room with same options. I would not have stayed at that price but I waited till last minute to book and had no choice but to pay the inflated rate.

  I was in Bismarck for two days and needed a nice place where I could actually office for a day. It was suggested by one of my customers that I stay at your hotel. It was one of the best experiences I have had. I was able to complete a lot of office work that made the rest of me week so much more pleasant.   We came on a social distance vacation. We enjoyed the location of this hotel. It’s clearly very new, and updated. They did a good job making sure the breakfast had many options. Staff wore facial coverings. Their pool is open, for 45 minute swim times. It’s a great hotel!

  This hotel must be fairly new. It is very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was very modern, large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had great lighting! We didn't hear any noise coming from other rooms we were on the top floor. The temperature was comfortable and the shades kept out the light, loved the pull down shades! Great breakfast with lots of selections and a Large number of tables. We will be back at this hotel. Easy access to restaurants and shopping is a big plus.

  As always, the staff was very friendly. I called in as I was nearing town to make sure there were rooms available. I drive to most of my job locations and it seems that I am always driving for 10 to 12 hours before I make it to my room. So a speedy friendly check in has always been a blessing. The room was spotless as usual and the atmosphere was warm.

  The hotel itself is fine. For some reason the staff has an obvious communication problem. We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and honestly I wish we would have stayed somewhere else. Our first morning was met with disappointment since instead of the typical Holiday Inn breakfast we were greated with green signs apologizing that the hot breakfast items were unavailable. I asked the front desk what was going on and they said their oven broke down. I asked if our room rate would be reduced since we would now be paying for breakfast down the street. The staff assured me they would speak to the manager about it, and the oven technician would have everything fixed by morning. That afternoon we went to use the pool and were greated with a orange sign stating spa closed. Apparently the PH was off and they had to fix it. Ok. So the day didn't go well but everything will be taken care of the next day right? Nope. Same green signs apologizing for the lack of breakfast. When I went to check out I asked to have my rate reduced since the hotel did not deliver as advertised. I was informed that was not possible since the hotel Bill's in the middle of the night. As for breakfast the front desk had no clue the oven wasn't working. He actually went back to talk to the cooking staff to verify it and see the signs for himself. How could the front desk not know considering it was the second day of the the problem, and the signs were twenty feet away across a open lobby. The front desk did offer to give me some extra rewards points as compensation but for some reason he was having computer trouble and couldn't. After leaving the hotel I called Holiday Inn to speak to the manager. I was told they would be calling within 48 hours. Well here we are a week later and nothing. Obviously this hotel has a somewhat brilliant strategy. Advertise services they dont actually provide, charge you for it, and when you complain, develope a computer problem or just be unavailable to return a phone call.

  We had an excellent experience staying here. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the pool or anything as it was just a quick few hour stop to sleep. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast was AMAZING! We still talk about it. I loved that they had gluten and lactose free options, I feel like they thought of everything when it came to the breakfast

  I like holiday inn express because the rooms are typically very consistent and the staff are usually friendly. This hotel is in a convenient location and met expectations. We always stay here in Bismarck The bed, however, could use a replacement. Seems old and worn. Otherwise, a decent hotel. Be sure to check search engines for best pricing. Search engines had lower rates than what the hotel could offer directly. Friendly staff and warm pool.

  What a fabulous experience. Check in was a simple breeze with courteous staff. Simple instructions on the time of breakfast and what was available immediately makes you feel that you are very welcome. The room was absolutely perfect, clean and stylish. The personal touches such as a mini keurig, refrigerator and microwave were everything I needed. The kind size bed was very comfortable, I don't think I even moved all night. The hot tub was simply amazing. Will stay again!!!

  This hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it. Very quiet and extremely clean throughout. The breakfast is phenominal as many places that offer breakfast have very limited choices. This place has lots of choices in addition to the ability to bag some things up if you are in a hurry and need to run. Lots of outlets in the rooms which is critical this day and age and the rooms are spacious.

  Great breakfast with many cold and hot choices. Loved the Cinnabons. Pull out bed in room with double queens was handy for teenage child and the bed linens/comforter on it were as comfortable and nice as the regular beds. The front desk staff was very helpful when we forgot our charger in the room.

  I found this location to be quite nice with several stores and sites/places to visit within close proximity. The indoor pool was cold, but what else do you expect, I do wish it had been heated, but the hot tub is not that far if you really need to warm up. They were doing some light construction work while I was there for my stay, so the dust from the cement saw was not kind with my black van. That is really my only complaint. Everything else was nice. The breakfast had a good selection of options. I personally liked the soy milk and the scrambled eggs, with bacon, along with a good selection of yogurts. I would definitely stay here again. The Hotel staff was welcoming and inviting. Thanks for a good stay.

  My eighty-two year old mother and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Bismarck, North Dakota for the night of Sunday, June 14th, 2015. When making our reservations online, we requested a room on the top floor, away from any noise, and we were given a room on the top floor overlooking the front entrance. We were not recognized as Gold Elite members of their IHG Rewards Club and were not given a choice between a gift basket (bottled water and some nuts) or 300 points. It was not a big deal, but it was unexpected as all of the other Holiday Inn Express' we stayed at did this for us. The large-sized non-smoking “executive” room included two very high queen-sized beds, each with four pillows on them (two soft and two firm), a couch, a coffee table, a table with two chairs, a comfy chair, a large HD television and remote with lots of channels, free WiFi, a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave and a coffeemaker, and a closet area that contained an iron and ironing board. The lamps in the room gave off plenty of light, so we were not sitting in the dark at night like some other hotel rooms we have stayed at. The medium-sized bathroom had plenty of room to move around in, and included three sets of towels, a hairdryer, bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion, as well as two bars of soap. The shower had a handle, but it was on the outside, which made it difficult to use when in the shower. We also found the toilet was high, making it easy for my mother to use. At the time of our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, but that did not affect our stay as it was on a Sunday night and it looked like the workers got the day off. Overall, We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Bismarck. Not only was it very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and we felt very welcomed. We would definitely stay again if we were coming back to the area, and look forward to visiting after the renovations are complete.

  I stayed at this hotel a year ago and was so impressed that we decided to stay here again this year while on another road trip. Everything is so clean and new! The decor is inviting, beds and pillows very comfy, great breakfast, kuerig coffee maker in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet all night. I just love this hotel.

  This was my first experience since the pandemic, so I wasn't sure what to expect. All the "normal" comforts were there "enhanced" for safety - which I appreciated. Breakfast was the only downside. I know we are all learning and there were numerous cold individually wrapped items. There were a few hot items, but I do miss bacon! Wait/server? was on top of needs/resupply and cleaning/sanitizing.

  I really appreciate the added chaise lounge in the room, as I sometimes need to move to a sitting position during the night, and this allowed me to put my feet up as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast burrito was delicious! Plenty of other options as well.

  My family likes to go on little mini vacations for a break from our very hectic life. This hotel was perfect for that. Not at all expensive, but you feel like you are being pampered. The pool was warm and fun for the kids. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was amazing! So much good food, it was fun to try different things each morning. The room was immaculate and beautiful. Beds were more comfortable than ours at home. Internet worked great. All in all we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back!

  Greeted by the friendliest staff. was in my room within five minutes. The room was a great size and everything in the room worked properly. Internet was fast and reliable. Bathrooms were extremely clean. I forgot shaving cream and they offered full size replacements at the check-in desk. the noise reduction doors made it so quiet, it seemed as if i was the only person in the hotel. Check out was just as easy as waking up in the morning and leaving. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again when i am in town for business.

  This hotel was recently updated. It not only looks good but functions well. The in room amenities are great. Its not always that you get a fridge, microwave and a single serve coffee maker in a Holiday Inn Express. The staff here were great. We started work early and breakfast was always ready even before the regular hours. That was a great plus. Even though our staff made a booking error the Management was nice to correct the error.   I felt comfortable in the uncertain times of COVID. Paige along with other staff members was really helpful and nice. They all maintained 6 foot distance and masks, this made me comfortable and made me feel safe in the hotel. Paige did provide me with the best view room. Thanks it was all in all a nice experience.

  I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean. The front desk and breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that there was not a shuttle to the airport, but luckily Bismarck offers Uber and Lyft. I would recommend this hotel to others.

  I called in to make a reservation, talked to Paige she was incredibly helpful. Upon arrival I was checked in by the same associate. I felt right at home. Paige had a very positive attitude and gave off a lot of positive energy. After a short conversation I headed to my room. It was very comfortable. Updated with a nice LG LCD TV on a mount that could be tilted to face the couch in the room. USB charging plugs built into the night stands. Fast wifi. Coffee maker microwave and fridge. Clean comfortable bed. Really though the energy from the staff made my day. Kudos to Paige.

  Covid-19 caused some changes in what we’re used to, but considering that’s out of control of the hotel our stay was good. The staff (everyone from the desk clerks, custodians and maids) were extremely nice and friendly! Hot breakfast was not served but they had alternatives and did the best they could. Maid service could not come into the rooms every day because of Covid guidelines so it was kind of a hassle to have to go to the front desk or hunt down a maid cart every day to get fresh towels or to empty our garbages. Most hotels in town or in the state have become much cheaper due to Covid. This place was not! But stayed here anyway because of the wedding and had other family already booked at this site. If going back Without extended family I would likely book something much cheaper.

  I hadn’t stayed at a holiday inn express be for. So i was very happy with my whole experience. We were there with family for a basketball tournament in Mandan. It was clean and the whole area was arranged so everything was easy to get to. We had great people at the desk both coming and going. It was quiet at night and i just loved the whole time we were there. I will stay there again next time i travel.

  Clean, new design, friendly staff. Breakfast was as expected, although I always like the cinnamon buns. Not a huge pool but the plus is a hot tub. Gym has weights up to fifty, bench and fully body machine. I had not problems.

  The hotel was easy to find and a quick drive to where we needed to go. The hotel was clean outside on the property grounds, inside the lobby/halls, and in our room. The room was much larger than I expected, which was nice. The beds were comfortable. At night we didn't hear any other guests coming and going. We got up and had a wonderful breakfasts (pancakes, yogurt, bacon/sausage, egg white veggie omelettes, bagels, fruit, cereal, French toast). We went swimming in the morning and we were the only ones in the pool area. The area was very clean. I had booked the two nights separately and our room key was deactivated, but it was fixed immediately. It was nice and relaxing without any worries. A kuerig was in the room and the tv was attached to the wall so we could adjust where it was facing. We will be staying here again if we need to travel to Bismarck again.
